The under-eye puffiness is termed as ‘Eye Bags’. This condition is majorly caused by the effect of aging on the body. The skin tissues under the eyes sag and the fluid accumulates in the area which gives a swollen appearance. Apart from age factor, the issues like lack of sleep, smoking, allergies, eczema, allergies, water retention, genes and skin issues causing this condition.
The puffiness is not painful in the majority of cases and it is not considered as a serious condition. Eye bags look awkward and affect your beauty. There are many essential oils for reducing the puffiness of your eyes and you can attain beautiful look by using these correctly on the under-eye area.
Almond Oil: This is widely used oil for improving your eye bags. The inflammation and irritability in the skin become fine and you can get balanced water loss from the body. Massage the pure almond oil under your eye area twice a day for two weeks and see the reduction in puffiness.
Rosemary Oil: This oil has anti-inflammatory properties for rejuvenation of the skin. The reduction of swelling in eyes strengthens the blood capillaries. You can mix 3-4 drops of rosemary essential oils with one tablespoon of Shea butter to massage under your eyes. The circulatory motion with fingertips can be helpful to reduce puffiness.
Lavender Oil: 1-2 drops of lavender oil can be mixed with 1-2 drops of lemon oil to get the best results. You can use the mixture before going to bed and sleep with an intention to get your eyes cured within least time.
Chamomile Oil: Chamomile is amazing oil for the shrinking tissues. You can get a gradual decrease in puffiness levels with the anti-inflammatory properties of the oil. It can be used with witch hazel (2 ounces with 2 drops of chamomile oil) to get a tightened skin. The mixture can be kept inside the refrigerator to keep safe. A cotton swab can be used to apply the mixture under the eyes to reduce the wrinkles.
Essential oils should be used in the best way to ensure that your eye area becomes free from puffiness, dark circles, and wrinkles. Make sure that you don’t expose your body to the sun after the application of essential oil under your eyes. Before using any essential oil, don’t forget to do a skin test on your elbow or wrist. You must use the oil safely to get the desired effects from it.
