Daily Aromatherapy Wisdom for Everyday

The following is sacred Spiritual wisdom based upon the ancestral cultures for Indigenous Wisdom Ways of Old.

The Ancients have always believed our head is our 360-degree universe, ruling all parts of the body and integrating access to the physical world from the Spiritual world.

From which belief arises that Spirit enters/leaves the body and makes contact with your being-ness through the head.

The head is the seat of the crown (soul).

The crowning of the Spirit is caring for your head as a sacred part of the body and an aspect of ancient Indigenous cultures, of which few are still in existence today (i.e. Yoruba, etc.), yet remaining Spiritually mighty.

Making it ever clear that the head must be cleansed, purified, strengthened, praised and blessed often.

When was the last time you blessed your head or even praised its sacredness?

There is a proverb that states: “No one can receive the blessings of Divine God/Goddess without the acceptance of their own soul.”

If you don’t care for and protect the sacredness of your head, who will?

The easiest/simplest yet most profound way to intentionally strengthen, protect, heal, praise/bless and care for your head throughout each day is to anoint your head using essential oils which especially correspond highest to this ancient/sacred ritual.  The three top essential oils which will best serve the above include the king and queen of essential oils.  The queen being Myrrh for purification, the king being Frankincense (Boswellia sacra, Boswellia carteri, or Boswellia serrata) for clarity, and the third being Clary Sage for wisdom (not just “Sage”). These three are great to blend together to create a very powerful holy energy-transmitting oil.

To anoint your head, firstly, recite a prayer for grounding and protection (any of the psalms or appropriate sections of the Koran or any sacred text you feel inspired by will do). Secondly, Pour a small amount (a drop or two), onto the index and third fingers of your right hand. Using any affirmation of empowerment that you may feel inspired by such as, “I AM blessing, praising, cleansing, purifying, and healing my head with gratitude and love, NOW” while you anoint:

1) the top of your head, 2) the middle of your forehead, 3) your Adam’s apple, and 4) the base of your skull. You may repeat the anointing any time you experience stress/tension or seek centering. Always remember never use any essential oil and then sit directly in the sun/nor use a tanning bed after anointing as skin sensitivities and burns may result.

Also remember this is sacred Spiritual wisdom to be used with highest/best intentions and wisdom, always. Please note once you are comfortable with this easy/simple practice you will definitely want to graduate on the simple yet very powerful sacred ‘Head Blessing Ceremony’ (also practiced daily or weekly), which will be offered via up and coming workshops which are to be announced soon.

In the meantime stay blessed, head/body/mind/spirit/soul.
